Our Story & Heritage

Mismoosh Ltd began as GDVA GSFA (Goed Dienst Voor Alles) in Amsterdam in 2002, founded by Colet. Our motto was simple: “Great Service for All.”

A major influence was co-founder Gerda van Aerde, whose life and resilience inspired many. After her passing, her wish to share her story came true in the book:

By 2013, after considering closing the company, we found new purpose when Linda joined the business. Her experience in mental health and client care transformed our services and helped us navigate major challenges, including COVID-19 and economic downturns.

In 2015, we rebranded as Mismoosh Ltd—a creative name symbolizing unity and adaptability.

Our Timeline

1981: Founder Colet born on 31 July.
2002: Company launched as GDVA GSFA in Amsterdam Zuidoost.
2004 – 2006: Expansion to Almere.
2006: Moved to Lelystad; store opened as WM WM Group.
2013: Linda joins the company; major business shift.
2014: Gerda’s life story published.
2015: UK registration as Mismoosh Ltd.
